Getting The Job Done

A snippet from the past

Sent from my iPad AirLET’S TALK ABOUT LIFE….real life and reel life. Real life is tough and easy, happy and sad, rich and poor….good and bad. Reel life, on the other hand, is a reflection of all that; well, more accurately, it is MEANT to reflect the real stuff….such as the well-balanced portrayal of good and bad government officials and personnel in ANG PROBINSYANO.

ANG PROBINSYANO is an ongoing—over three years now—ABS-CBN teleserye that makes us pine and cry for justice, and applaud whenever a criminal culprit is nailed. It makes us cheer good cops, and boo bad ones. It secures us and our families with the thought that the national and local police forces are doubling their efforts to maintain peace and order…and likewise advises us to take care.

ANG PROBINSYANO is an entertaining fictional story about fear and courage and, most especially, our struggle against corruption….hence, the depiction of good and bad cops. Our stellar performer here is actor Coco Martin who exemplifies the “good cop” who is willing to risk his life to “get the job done”. Let’s continue to applaud him, the cast, and the entire technical workforce.

Finally, instead of jeering the teleserye, may some elements of the PNP instead draw the inspiration to be true to their oath of service, and to be willing to get the job done without counting the cost. A M E N
